SHINee’s Jonghyun to unveil new song in solo album
Jonghyun (OSEN) |
SHINee’s Jonghyun, who is embarking on a solo career, is set to unveil his first song in a new album on Jan. 7.
The song, titled “Deja-Boo,” has been produced in collaboration with hip-hop musician Zion.T and is said to sport a funky retro feel.
Expectations are mounting that Jonghyun will showcase a new type of music given his rich expertise in writing lyrics to hit songs including ”Juliette,“ ”Honesty,“ and ”Spoiler.“
Since Jan. 3, Jonghyun has introduced a group of artists -- Younha, Wheesung, IRON and Zion.T -- on his official website as participants for his forthcoming album.
His live performance titled “BASE of JONGHYUN” is slated for Jan. 8 at the newly opened multicultural complex SMTOWN@coexartium in Seoul.
Jonghyun’s first solo mini album “BASE” will be available for purchase at both online and offline stores starting from Jan. 12.
