Ex-MBLAQ member Thunder signs contract
Former MBLAQ member Thunder signed a contract with Mystic89 Entertainment on Tuesday, local media reported.
The 24-year-old idol, who left K-pop band MBLAQ last December, signed a management contract with the label, headed by veteran singer-songwriter Yoon Jong-shin.

“Thunder is an artist who has indefinite potential in many respects. We will support Thunder to help him nurture talents in acting and music,” said an official from APOP Entertainment, a sublabel of Mystic89 Entertainment.
Mystic89 Entertainment has two subsidiaries -- APOP Entertainment and Family Actors Entertainment -- that respectively focus on managing actors and K-pop groups.
Thunder now belongs to both sublabels to pursue his acting and music career.
Later in the day, Thunder shared his feelings on Twitter about starting anew as a soloist.
“I understand how difficult it is to wait without hearing anything from me, but I thought that showing progress might be the way to return your love,” he wrote on Twitter.
Thunder debuted as a member of then-quintet MBLAQ in 2009 but left the group to focus on his solo career upon termination of his contract with his ex-agency J.Tune Entertainment.
One of his ex-bandmates Lee Joon also left the group to become an actor. He has currently signed with Prain TPC.
