Jung Joon-young Band collaborates with Bon Jovi’s producer

Singer Jung Joon-young’s eponymous band Jung Joon-young Band will collaborate with Bon Jovi’s producer Brian Howes for its upcoming album.

“Brian Howes will produce the band’s title track “OMG,” said an official from the band’s label CJ E&M on Thursday. “Brian is currently working on Bon Jovi’s new album. In the U.S., he is in charge of Bon Jovi, while in Asia, he is working with Jung Joon-young Band.”

Jung, who first came into the spotlight after finishing third on the audition program “Super Star K4” in 2012, recently formed the four-member rock band, consisting of himself, as vocalist, guitarist Jo Dae-min, bassist Jung Seok-won and drummer Lee Hyun-kyu.

The band will make its official debut by releasing “OMG” at noon on May 27.
