JYP’s rookie girl group TWICE released its debut album titled “The Story Begins” along with its music video on Tuesday.

The lead track “Like Ooh-Ahh” mixed different music genres including, hip-hop, R&B and rock.

The music video also drew fan’s attention, with the members flaunting their confident and bright charms, showing their potential to strengthen their position in the already saturated K-pop girl group market.

Nine-member TWICE -- with the average age being 18 -- is JYP’s first girl group in five years since miss A. The group consists of Jihyo, Nayeon, Chaeyoung, Jungyeon, Mina, Sana, Dahyun, Tzuyu and Momo. They made their first public appearance on Mnet’s survival program “Sixteen” in May last year.

The group will hold a showcase named “Ooh-Ahh, TWICE” at AX Hall Korea, Seoul on Tuesday at 8 p.m. and will live broadcast the event via Naver’s real-time streaming service V app.
