Chief producer Lee Yoon-jeong of upcoming tvN drama “Cheese in the Trap” said the chemistry between the two lead characters, Park Hae-jin and Kim Go-eun, “couldn’t be better” at a press conference held Tuesday in Seoul.

When asked about their first meeting, Kim Go-eun said she was surprised because her costar was “too tall.” She then burst into laughter, saying she even had neck pain due to the big height difference.

“It is difficult to portray Yoo Jeong’s emotions. He barely expresses his feelings in the cartoon,” said the actor, adding he is still struggling to figure out his emotions. The drama’s male lead Yoo Jeong is seemingly everyone’s Mr. Right -- he’s smart, good looking and kind. The character, however, does not show his feelings to others and is sometimes considered as cold-blooded and even a control freak.

“Many people were worried about how I looked different from the cartoon character,” said Kim Go-eun, the lead actress, adding she is trying to leave those behind and focus on her acting.

The 16-episode drama based on a popular webtoon revolves around a struggling college girl. The hard-working girl eventually falls for a guy who is seemingly perfect but acts suspicious at the same time.
