Actor Kim Soo-hyun, G-Dragon of Big Bang and Choi Si-won of Super Junior were selected by the Forbes magazine as the most influential people under the age of 30 in Asia.

Forbes Asia on Wednesday announced its inaugural list of “30 Under 30 Asia” in 10 different sectors, including entertainment and sports, health care and science, and social entrepreneurs.

In the entertainment and sports section, six Korean stars -- Kim, G-Dragon and Choi, as well as Yoona of Girls’ Generation, pop-opera singer Lim Hyung-joo and figure skater Kim Yuna -- made it to the coveted list.

New Zealander golfer Lydia Ko and Australian actor Liam Hemsworth are also named on the list.
