Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and f(x) win at Huading Awards

Super Junior’s Cho Kyu-hyun and quartet girl group f(x) were picked as global best singer and idol group respectively, at the 18th Huading Awards held at Hotel Macau Studio City at 7 p.m. on Thursday.

“I was able to receive the award because all my fans have supported me a lot. I would like to say ‘thank you’ and ‘I love you’ to fans and (Super Junior’s) members as well,” said Kyuhyun in Chinese.

He performed his hit song “At Gwanghwamun” after the acceptance speech.

“We felt very thankful for this great honor, and want to share happiness with Victoria who is absent today,” said the members of f(x) before performing “4 Walls.”

The Huading Awards have been held annually since 2007. It recognizes achievements in music, film and drama. It is sponsored by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China.

The event was broadcast live on online video streaming sites iQiyi and PPTV.
