Actress Kim Tae-ri has been cast as the model for Clarins, a cosmetics brand, for this season, the company said.

A representative from Clarins told a local media outlet, “We think that Kim’s pure and clean image makes her well-suited to represent our brand, which is environmentally friendly.”

Kim will film a commercial for Clarins’ upcoming new brand, which will be launched this September.

She has gained public recognition recently through her role in the movie “The Handmaiden,” directed by Park Chan-wook.
