Kick-starting Tuesday’s Naver V app was Lee Hi with her eighth V app episode of HI TV.

In a nearly hour-long broadcast, the young K-pop starlet typically emphasizes her “HI Playlist” segment in which she introduces her favorite songs and musical artists that most influence her. However, after deciding to skip the segment in the previous week’s episode in order to spend more time conversing with fans, Lee was once again looking to spend much of the episode chatting with viewers.

“Before we start with the ‘HI Playlist’ today, I want to put a priority on communicating (with viewers),” Lee said at the start of the show.

“So I’ll start the episode with talking with fans,” she continued. “If you have any questions feel free to ask, I will listen and answer all your questions.”

The singer went on to talk about how fellow YG labelmate and Akdong Musician member Lee Chan-hyuk is notorious for his antics against Lee Hi, constantly taking embarrassing photos of her and posting them on social media.

“He even took embarrassing photos of me sleeping on a train and uploaded them on Instagram,” she says. “It can be pretty annoying at times to be honest, but Chan-hyuk is a good friend and a very talented musician.”

The sporty ladies of Crayon Pop, who popularized wearing bike helmets as a fashion statement, also joined Tuesday’s V app lineup, tuning in live from Jejudo.

Broadcasting from inside a van, they briefly greeted fans on their way to a concert performance on the island, sharing their thrill to be in such cool surroundings.

“We are actually only here for the day but we wish we could stay longer to see some sights. It’s really dark so you probably can’t see, but right now outside the sky is full of stars and it’s so beautiful,” they said, as they burst into singing “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.”

As soon as the band got out of the van, they were greeted by a number of locals wanting to have their pictures taken with the K-pop stars, leading to a brief interruption of the broadcast, but it soon resumed with the ladies promising to return to their fans soon.

Also on yesterday’s V app lineup was Park Ga-ram of popular indie rock band Dickpunks, spending more than an hour in a solo tell-all episode with his fans discussing everything from music to marriage.

The members of BTS also introduced their special “BTS Memory Film” as a V Live Plus option, broadcasting footage from the band’s 10-day northern European excursion, celebrating the group’s third anniversary.
