Singer-actor Jung Yong-hwa will make his Chinese silver screen debut on Jan. 28, according to Emperor Motion Pictures.

The Hong Kong-based entertainment firm released posters featuring six actors through its Weibo account on Tuesday, with 27-year-old Jung as one of them.

In the cooking-themed comedy film “Emperors Cook Up a Storm,” Jung plays a chef from a Michelin-starred restaurant who clashes with an anonymous cook, played by Nicholas Tse, in a cooking duel.

The release date falls on Chunjie, Chinese Lunar New Year‘s Day, known as the peak season for Chinese theaters.
