In light of the seventh anniversary since their first music showcase, CNBLUE members expressed their appreciation to fans via Naver’s V app Friday.

“Since we have a heavy schedule tomorrow, we decided to have a V app broadcast today,” Jung Yong-hwa said at the start of the broadcast.

The band had its first showcase on Jan. 14, 2010.

“Whenever Jan. 14 comes, I tend to get reminded about the feeling I had when we were waiting behind the stage for our first showcase,” Kang Min-hyuk said.

The band attributed reaching the milestone of its seventh anniversary to fans and its agency’s staff.

“If there wasn’t your support, we wouldn’t have kept our music career,” said Jung.

The members also expressed their regret at not having many opportunities to perform in their homeland. They hope to perform more in Korea this year for their Korean fans.

On Friday, the boy band was presented the best K-pop band award at the Golden Disk Awards ceremony.

First-generation K-pop band g.o.d shared a rare glimpse of its members in their waiting room before their “2017 god to MEN Concert” on Friday via Naver’s V app.

The concert was held on Jan. 13, the same day they had released their first album in 1999.

To commemorate the anniversary, g.o.d chose to hold the event Friday instead of over the weekend.

“We have heard that many fans who live far from Seoul could not come to concert since it is Friday. For the sake of those fans, we have prepared the V app live broadcast,” said Kim Tae-woo.

The broadcast started 30 minutes before the concert. It captured the hectic moments in the waiting room where the members were busy checking their outfits and putting on their microphones.

Amid such frenzy, the members appeared on camera to make funny faces and sing for fans. They tried to perform songs upon fans’ requests but they could not remember the lyrics for most of the requested songs.

They also gave a little tour of the waiting room and showed gifts from fans, including a special cake with figurines of each member on top.

The concert was held in the Namdong Gymnasium in Incheon.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
