Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun, who released her first solo album this week, “Don’t Say No,” took to Naver’s V app on Wednesday to share with fans what it’s like to go solo as the youngest member of the pop sensation.

During the live broadcast, Seohyun was asked by fans how she felt about her debut as a solo artist, to which she responded, “I feel really happy. It’s like a dream come.”

Seohyun, one of Girls’ Generation’s three primary vocalists along with Taeyeon and Tiffany, released a solo album featuring seven songs that shows a new maturity long kept hidden. She has been with the girl group since she was 16.

“It has been days of excitement and joy since the beginning of the production of my solo album,” the singer said.

The lyrics of the upbeat dance-pop title track were written by K-pop producer Kenzie, while other songs on the album were written by Seohyun herself.

Since its release, the fashion-forward music video for “Don’t Say No” has been viewed nearly 2.5 million times on YouTube.

Kang Sira finally made her debut with “Don’t Wanna Forget” on Wednesday at midnight.

The former contestant of “Produce 101,” the popular girl group competition show that aired last year, appeared on Naver’s V app a day earlier, saying, “I feel so nervous because it really is my first time to make my debut as a singer.”

“But it’s only the beginning and I guess I will have more exciting experiences in the days to come,” she said.

The title track “Don’t Wanna Forget” comes with four others on her first mini album. Also included is “In the Same Place,” written by B1A4’s Jinyoung.

Kang did not make it to the final round to become part of 11-member group I.O.I during “Produce 101.”

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit www.vlive.tv.
