A music video teaser of BoA’s new single “Spring Rain” was released Wednesday evening.

The teaser was unveiled through its official channel on YouTube and Naver TV Wednesday at 6 p.m.

The upcoming music video was filmed in New York City, directed by Shomi Patwary who worked with world-famous artists such as US pop star Beyonce, hip hop artist ASAP Rocky and Diplo, the international producer and singer.

“The video will be like a movie, featuring visually striking scenes and dramatized stories,” said an agency official.

“Spring Rain” and its music video will be released Friday at 6 p.m. through local music streaming sites and the agency’s official video channels. The song talks about fluctuating emotions between love and hatred.

BoA is set to hold her solo concert “BoA The Live in Billboard Live” in Tokyo from May 11-12. She is currently hosting the second season of Mnet’s audition program “Produce 101”
