Actress Cha Ye-ryun tied the knot with actor Joo Sang-wook on Thursday.

The wedding took place at an outdoor venue of the Grand Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul, and was attended by celebrities such as Go Ara, Jang Keun-suk and Lee Min-jung.

It was hosted by Jo Jae-yoon, Joo’s close friend. Singers Bada, Wax and JeA also performed a wedding song for the couple at the ceremony.

Prior to the wedding, the couple shared their feelings at a press conference, expressing how happy they were.

“I was so nervous last night that I had to chug two bottles of soju,” Joo said.

“I decided to marry this woman the moment I saw her happily enjoying the food she cooked and even cleaning up the kitchen by herself. Then I thought, living with such woman would be bliss.”

Cha said that she did not have trouble with Joo while dating because of his mild and caring personality.

“Most of the time, Joo sees eye-to-eye with me. He also tried to follow my opinion when planning the wedding,” Cha said.

The couple said they would like to have at least two kids in the future while continuing their acting careers.
