‘BBC star’ Kelly to appear in ‘Superman Is Back’

In March, Pusan National University professor Robert Kelly became famous after his children interrupted a live BBC interview. And on Sunday, he will appear in the Korean program “Superman is Back” with his family.

The KBS reality show features celebrity fathers and their children.

Kelly and his family made headlines here and abroad when his playful children Yae-na and Yu-sub walked into his study while he was doing a video interview with BBC. The professor’s surprised facial expression, his wife’s reaction and the children’s innocent resistance amused viewers around the world, with the clip going viral on social media and resulting in parodies.

On the upcoming episode of “Superman is Back,” Kelly and his children will meet with Sam Hammington and his toddler, William. Hammington invited Kelly on the show, having made contact through social media after the famous BBC interview. “Superman is Back” airs every Sunday at 4:50 p.m. on KBS2.
