Nam Tae-hyun of South Club and actress Jung Ryeo-won have been caught up in dating rumors, as local news reports revealed that Nam and Jung have been spotted together on the set of Jung’s upcoming movie “Gate.”

According to reports Tuesday, Nam was recently seen waiting for Jung to wrap up her filming at the set late at night, and there were a few witnesses who said the two looked like an intimate couple.

Dating rumors concerning the two are not new. Their agencies have been denying the speculations.

Jung’s agency refuted the latest dating rumor as well, saying Nam was just one of Jung’s acquaintances who had visited the set to support her that night.

“Son Dam-bi, one of Jung’s friends, sent a coffee truck to the set as the filming for ‘Gate’ was coming to an end. Son visited the set with Jung’s other acquaintances, and Nam was just one of them,” said an agency official.

“They are not dating. They have only shared a few meals together joined by their friends.”

Singer-turned-actress Jung debuted as a member of now-defunct girl group Chakra in 2000. She rose to fame after starring in MBC drama “My Name Is Kim Sam-soon” in 2005.

Nam, formerly of boy band Winner, broke away from the idol group in November and formed South Club in March. The band is set to release its first EP later this month.
