TvN’s fantasy rom-com series “The Bride of Habaek” will finish filming Wednesday, sources familiar with the matter told the media.

The 16-episode show will come to a close on Aug. 22. After finishing filming, the production team will focus on post-production until the end of the drama.

As the drama is reaching its climax, the staff and actors were asked to zip their mouths about the plot.

“The Bride of Habaek” is based on a cartoon by the same title. It tells the story of girl who is offered up as a sacrifice to the water god to end a long drought. While the original cartoon is set in the historic era, the TV spinoff is set in modern times.

“The Bride of Habaek” airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 10:50 p.m.
