Aside from BTS’ debut US performance at the American Music Awards on Monday, a photo showing BTS with fellow artists at the event created buzz via social media.

Among the many photos BTS took with AMAs attendees, one in particular with US singer-songwriter Rachel Platten has been going viral on social media.

In the photo posted to Platten’s Instagram account Monday, she bears a bright, wide smile while sitting across RM and Jimin’s legs.

The photo was captioned “Giving my boys @bts.bighitofficial a pep talk before their first American TV performance. You guys are going to kill it!”

The photo went viral, with online comments reading, “That is the US style” and “Look at RM’s face. Is he trying to hide his shyness?” as he looks away, apparently smiling for a different photographer.

The first K-pop boy band to attend the event, BTS performed its hit “DNA” at the AMAs in Los Angeles, Sunday night.
