Ten and Taeyong of boy band NCT aired a surprise V broadcast from Ukraine late Friday.

The two bandmates were taking some time off from a music video shoot in Ukraine, with a laid-back brunch at a local restaurant.

They opened the broadcast by showing off Ukrainian traditional dishes on the table. “All the food here is so delicious! I am confident I came all the way here for the food,” said Ten while dipping his bread into cranberry yogurt.

The two playfully fed each other. Taeyong presented Ten a fried fish finger, and Ten offered him a spoonful of a red soup. Though he refused at first, Taeyong soon slurped the soup from Ten’s spoon and praised the taste.

“I wonder who else aired a broadcast from Ukraine, right? It’s our first time here,” said Taeyong. Taeyong and Ten said they would capture Ukraine’s beautiful scenery in photographs and present them to the viewers soon.

Jimin and Seolhyun of girl group AOA recounted carrying the Olympic torch for the PyeongChang Games in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Friday.

The bandmates ran with the official torch for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics in the area around Sadang Station in Seoul, Wednesday.

During Friday’s broadcast, they were asked about their feelings on becoming torchbearers.

“It still doesn’t feel like real. I was honored to do such a meaningful thing,” Seolhyun said.

“It was very hectic at the site but I felt grateful as the helpers there shouted out ‘Go for it, Jimin! Go for it, Jimin!’ and gave me high-fives,” Jimin commented. “It is an honor to my family. I will feel great when I look back on it later.”

“I will be able to boast (to my children), ‘Your mom used to be this kind of person,’” she added.

N of boy band VIXX will release a Korean version of “Saboten,” the singer said in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Friday.

“Saboten” is a track from the group’s Japanese album “La La La Aiwo Arigatou" ("La La La Thanks for the Love") released in September last year.

During the broadcast, the singer updated fans, saying he “had been volunteering and performing good deeds with good people.”

“I feel proud to do good things,” he said.

“I thought ‘I am a good influence' seeing Starlight also performing good deeds," he added, referring to the group's fans. "I think the winter was warmer as we are influencing each other.”

“So on this good day, we have to have something good,” he said, revealing the plan to release a Korean version of “Saboten.”

“It is not that I am going to debut solo, but I prepared this as I thought it would be great if I could donate my talent as I do good things with you,” he said.

The title of the Korean version of “Saboten” will be “Cactus,” and profits from the song will be donated to Habitat for Humanity, an international nonprofit that seeks to make housing affordable for everyone.
