Kim, who is an honorary ambassador of CARE, an animal rights activist group, stressed the necessity of protecting animal rights.

“For those who say that they want to have a dog or a cat, I don’t encourage them. Having a pet may require hospital fee if it ages, and may need care as well,” she said. “Animals are like babies. There needs to be a resolution to welcome them as family and to be responsible for them until the very end.”

The actress encouraged people to participate in volunteer activities for abandoned or abused animals. She also suggested donating to an organization or a fund to help them. Kim will donate profits made from the pictorial to a charity organization.
