Suga of BTS (Big Hit Entertainment)

Suga of BTS won the title “K-pop’s best producer” by a landslide.

The BTS rapper beat out some of K-pop’s biggest names for the top spot in a poll conducted by Mwave, Mnet’s livestreaming website. He won 71.4 percent of the vote, or 131,021 of 183,497 votes.

The competition included G-Dragon of Big Bang, Woozi of Seventeen, Yong Junhyung of Highlight and Zico of Block B.

The results of the weeklong poll, which came out Saturday, attest to Suga’s talent as a performer-producer who has included self-produced tracks on every BTS album released to date.

BTS is lucky to have Suga on board.
