Nicknamed “the super rookies” and “JYP Entertainment’s secret weapon,” Stray Kids are making their boss proud with the sustained success of their three successive EPs “I am Not,” “I am Who” and “I am You.”

As one of the most promising contestants for 2018’s “new artist of the year” award, the band has topped one chart after another since its debut.

The video for the August single “My Pace” has scored over 46 million YouTube views at the time of writing.

Just like BTS, Stray Kids also produce their own music. The band’s team of producers -- known as “3RACHA” and consisting of members Bangchan, Changbin and Han -- has penned and composed every album to date.

NCT 127 is definitely the boy band to look out for.

The subunit of S.M. Entertainment’s enormous boy band NCT dropped its first full album, “NCT #127 Regular-Irregular,” Oct. 12, and it was one of the season’s most highly anticipated releases. The lead track, which was released bilingually in Korean and English, was spotlighted by US mainstream media such as ABC network’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and “Mickey Mouse Special.”

NCT 127 also became Apple Music’s “Up Next” artist for the month of October and is featured on the streaming platform for the entire month.

Monsta X released its second full album, “Take1. Are You There?” Monday. The new album deals with the “dividing line between light and darkness, good and evil, life and death,” according to a press release from label Starship Entertainment.

The seven-member band just got back from a 20-city concert tour, making appearances on big-name stateside TV shows such as FOX5’s “Good Day New York” and NBC’s “Access Hollywood” during its US visit in July and August. It has also landed interviews with major media outlets such as Billboard and the Chicago Tribune.

Monsta X is definitely one of the most sought-after boy bands at the moment.
