[V Report] K-pop's ‘regular chart-topper’ Crush releases 3 music videos

His new single “none” released on Oct. 17 created much buzz around town, topping four local music charts?Bugs, Genie, Mnet and Olleh.
“I was having a rough year last year, and I wanted to put out music that I was satisfied with as artist, without regard for its performance on music charts,” Crush said of his recent work. “This album is about the real me. I hope it gets through (to the listeners).”
The prolific 26-year-old has released six projects this year.
Music videos to three of this year’s works have been released on Naver’s V Live Thursday afternoon.

1. none
Released on Oct. 17 as a single, “none” is a play on words that bears two different meanings in English and Korean. The pronunciation of the word in Korean signifies “you are.” Crush’s most recent single is about a man in his late 20s recovering from a breakup.

2. Stevie Wonderlust
Crush’s May single “Stevie Wonderlost” is a special track off album “Fan’s imagination becomes a reality”?a title derived from Mnet’s reality show of the same title. Crush visited his musical idol Chet Baker’s graveyard on the show, honoring the late artist with a copy of his album and flowers.

3. Cereal
Lead track to his July album “wonderlost,” “Cereal” became one of his most highly anticipated releases of the year as the news of his collaboration with Zico spread. Zico, formerly a member of hip hop group Block B, is also behind numerous hit songs?as is Crush.

Crush is holding a two-day Seoul concert titled “2018 CRUSH ON YOU TOUR: Wonderlost” held Nov. 3 and 4. The singer will go on a North American tour starting Toronto on Nov. 21. New York, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Jose and Seattle are among his stops.
