HyunA and E’Dawn give 'post-Cube Entertainment' update on Instagram

(Cube Entertainment) |
As of last Wednesday, E’Dawn parted ways with Cube Entertainment, having debuted with the agency in October 2016 as part of boy group Pentagon.
Cube Entertainment said in an official statement that the label and E’Dawn had “reached a mutual agreement to revoke the contract,” expressing “sincere gratitude to the artist (E’Dawn) and the fans.”
The revocation of the contract marked the singer’s exit from Pentagon, as well as a temporary suspension of his music career.
Many believe Cube Entertainment’s move is affected by E’Dawn and HyunA’s decision to publicize their relationship. HyunA also left the label a month earlier.
A few hours after the news came out, E’Dawn updated fans on his whereabouts on Instagram, as if to signal he was doing OK.
On Saturday, E’Dawn took to Instagram once again to let fans take a sneak listen to the music that he was writing.
HyunA displayed her support in a comment that read, “I’d love to listen to the complete song,” to which the boyfriend replied, “I’ll think about it.”
HyunA and E’Dawn went public with their relationship Aug. 3, negating initial denials from the agency the day before. They later explained that they wanted to be truthful with their fans.
