“Daddy” was released in 2015 as one of the two lead tracks of his seventh album, featuring CL from the now-disbanded 2NE1 of YG Entertainment.

The music video for “Daddy,” a combination of a catchy tune with intense electronic synthesizer and the singer’s high energy, was selected as the most watched K-pop music video on YouTube across the world in 2016.

The song ranked 97th on Billboard’s main Hot 100 singles chart in 2015. Psy’s three other hits, “Gangnam Style,” “Gentleman,” and “Hangover,” also ranked on the chart.
