Each bandmate in the five-part girl group expressed their gratitude for topping the chart for the eighth time. “You have been here with us all the time. You gave us the strength and ... that was what got us through,” said leader Yeji, with the others chiming in with their thanks and blowing kisses.

“We couldn’t have lasted this long (without the fans),” they said, recalling how anxious they were before their first appearance on stage one month ago. They agreed it was hard to believe it had been already four weeks, and that their song “Dalla Dalla” was topping the charts.

To mark the group’s last performance before a short break, they came up with a secret code for their fans: making a wiggling V with their fingers. “We can see it so well from the stage!” they expained.

ITZY has stormed music charts with its debut song, “Dalla Dalla,” already winning 14 awards from music competition shows.

Suga of boy band BTS thanked his fans through Naver’s V Live for celebrating his birthday with him.

“I didn’t do anything special though, just working on the new album and practicing dance moves, and, oh, I had lunch with my family,” he said, adding he did not have much energy left to come up with a plan for the rest of his special day. “I only realized that it was March a couple of days ago.”

Going through messages sent by his fans, he replied that he indeed had miyeokguk, or seaweed soup, which people here traditionally have on their birthday, but did not get any presents.

“I got this cake,” he said, display a confectionary with a cutout of himself on top. “I feel awkward giving and receiving things ... and it’s not easy to find gifts. I am not even good at picking off a menu,” said the 26-year-old.

Although Suga said he was not old enough to be farsighted, he struggled reading messages, as leaned toward the screen and said he prefers hard copy print to webtoons.

“I am constantly working on new songs,” he said. As for the recent collaboration with Epik High for their 10th album, he gave credit to the veteran group, saying he had just given them a rough draft upon request.

The 46-minute birthday show was interrupted by bandmates V and J-Hope, as well as singer Lee Hyun.

In the sixth installment for his monthly feed, the actor shared scenes from photo shoots: getting ready for makeup and styling, being playful on set, getting touchups, kicking around a ball between shots and, of course, posing for the camera.

In one scene, Lee shares some snacks with children and asks behind the camera with a smirk, “Did you get that? Do I look like an angel?” before bursting into laughter.

Lee will return to acting after completing his military duty in April.

With piano in the background, the vocalist almost whispers to her audience, musing about how she misses her love in a medium tempo rhythm and blues ballad.

The former vocal director debuted in June 2018 with the single “Twenty,” for which she wrote the lyrics, and has gained a growing fan base by working on original sound tracks for TV dramas including “Dear My Room” and “Gangnam Scandal,” as well as featuring in a number of collaborations with other artists.
