Holland seemed to have fun answering some burning questions from fans around the world, including where his name comes from.

In a recent video on V Live, the out and proud singer said he named himself after Holland, also known as the Netherlands, as it became the first country to legalize same-sex marriage, which it did in 2001.

It also helped that the title of his debut single “Neverland” sounded similar to the Netherlands, the singer added.

He said he decided to become a singer after struggling with his sexual identity from a young age and noticed a lack of role models in Korea.

“The only people that told me their own struggles and stories were Hollywood actors or overseas pop stars. I thought we needed people like that in Korea, which motivated me to pursue my career.”

When asked about his favorite Disney films, he provided a long list, including “Peter Pan,” “Alice in Wonderland” and “Tangled,” “Up” and “Wall-E.”

Ha Sung-woon talks about little things in life

Ha Sung-woon of boy band Hotshot took to V Live to share a glimpse of his everyday life with fans.
Ha cut a casual figure as he appeared sporting a pair of oversized glasses and a coat, all the while eating ice cream.

As the livestream took place late at night, he asked viewers they had been up to, and some of them said they were doing homework while others said they were playing games.

“What did I do today? I arrived in Japan, ate food and I am here now. That’s it. I didn’t really do much,” Ha said, before reminding himself that he had done some shopping, including for a pair of plush slippers that he was beyond proud to show off.

He dedicated much of the nearly 50-minute broadcast to playing music to interact with fans.

Stray Kids talk new EP ‘Cle 1 : MIROH.’

Stray Kids explained the concept of their new mini album, “Cle 1 : MIROH,” to fans in a recent broadcast.

Bang Chan said that while the group’s previous work focused on depicting the nine of them taking on a new challenge, the new work will visualize how they are to survive in the music industry.

“Debuting, broadcasting or performing on stage. It’s all a brand new world to us,” he said.

“We wanted to create a story showing how we survive through all of this and that’s why we came up with ‘Cle 1 : MIROH.’”

Changbin referenced the last scene in the “I am YOU” video where the bandmates gazed at a city far afield.

“Though we couldn’t find the answers, we showed that we support each other and stay together and we as a group are ambitious and can go anywhere.”
