“Let’s do 100 first as a warmup,” suggested Changbin.

“We can’t just jump rope the whole time. It will be more about hanging out with Stay,” said Hyunjin, referring to their fandom.

“We had our first autograph session for ‘Side Effects,’” said Changbin, referring to the lead track from the band’s newly released EP, “Cle 2: Yellow Wood,” adding that it was nice to meet and chat with fans up close.

The trio recommended that fans try jumping rope themselves. “You can lose weight and build up your strength. And your calves!” said Changbin.

Just then Seungmin read a message from the live feed: “Go to sleep.”

They decided to jump rope 200 times and Changbin came up with a penalty if someone missed -- a headstand.

“No, no, no. I can’t do it,” protested Seungmin, but the other two ignored the objection and began. It was Hyunjin, however, who got tangled up. He easily did a headstand but fell down screaming when Changbin sneaked up and tickled him.

“There have been several glitches in DJing during the concert, but thankfully the fans have been very supportive,” said Shownu.

“We were so baffled,” said Hyungwon.

Kihyun explained that the problem was an unstable power connection.

“I am very sorry. I have not been responsible and have let down my fans who have been waiting to see me,” said Wonho, apologizing for not participating in the live performance. He had lost his passport and could not join the band onstage in time. “I really did try to find ways to join, at least for the last song, but couldn’t,” said Wonho.

Instead of showing disappointment, however, their fans rooted for the missing performer, said Monsta X.

“When it was (Wonho’s) part in ‘Myself,’ they cheered and shouted and I was very touched,” said Kihyun. “And we promised to return soon as a whole, all seven of us,” he added.

“I came to an aquarium,” said Lisa with a squeal of excitement as she began a short visit to one of the main attractions in Toronto. Inside, the idol dropped her jaw at the sight of a giant shark and let out a muffled shriek as she touched an eel-like sea creature.

Meanwhile, Jisoo was giddy with anticipation before hitting the stage. “It is 10 minutes before the concert. And I need some gim,” she said, picking up a piece of dried seaweed.

Lisa, having changed into her matching white rhinestone-studded costume, joined her in front of the selfie camera and said hi to fans.

After the live performance in Toronto, the girl group hopped onto a plane for New York.

In New York, the band was joined onstage by Dua Lipa, a British vocalist and songwriter, and they all performed “Kiss and Make Up” together.

The band members could not hide their excitement as they ran up to the guest for hugs.

The five were getting ready for a rehearsal and had a moment of nostalgia upon seeing a vine-shaped earpiece. “I remember the last time I wore this for ‘Dalla Dalla,’” said Yeji, recalling the band’s debut title from February.

After rehearsing, the leader indulged in a snack, calling it “the last energy boost,” and then began to dance in the waiting room.

All dressed in white, the girls headed for a meet-and-greet session with their fans. Thanks to their backstage practice, all of them succeeded at bottle flips and got a chance to give out Polaroids to fans.

For the concert, the band switched between cute and cool, presenting hits such as “Want It,” a digital single performed onstage for the first time. “We rocked it!” said Yeji as she gave the thumbs-up sign after the performance.
