He played songs by his bandmates and fiddled with special-effects functions on the application before saying hi.

“I woke up at 4 p.m. actually. I slept so much so that my back hurts a little, and I am thinking I will go work out a bit after this,” said the artist.

He confessed that he felt as if he was not in shape at the concert the day before.

“You were having such a great time at the concert, and I got so hyper. I was in high spirits when we were doing ‘MIC Drop.’ I was planning to shake everyone up to the core with the last song ‘Idol’ but during the short break between the two songs, I realized that I was about to lose it myself already,” said Jimin, explaining why he has decided to build himself up physically.

“We have done so many performances that all the members including me feel as if something is missing if we are not performing in front of you,” he added.

The pair delivered a message to fans from Dahyun -- “Sorry for not being able to stay close!” -- as she could not join them for the livestream because she had to host the biannual program.

“Thank you so much for staying there with us and cheering for us from dawn until now,” said Tsuyu.

Dahyun joined them via a short telephone call, telling fans, “I wanted to deliver the food to Once myself but couldn’t.”

Sporting a new hair color, Tsuyu told fans about how she maintains her long hair despite having bleached it twice and coloring it.

“I trimmed it a little bit, and it needs careful conditioning since it went through such procedures,” she said.

Chaeyoung sounded rueful as she showed her much shorter hair.

“I can’t dye it like Tsuyu as it is in bad condition. It looks like I have chopped off my bangs but actually the hair is breaking off so easily,” she lamented.

“It has been quite a while since we did this together, but I have watched the muscle man’s live shows,” said Hyungwon, poking fun at his bandmate.

“We are the two best-looking members of the band,” joked Wonho.

The duo reported that they had been to the Teen Choice Awards 2019 to perform “Who Do U Love?” Monsta X was nominated in the international artist section, along with Blackpink, EXO, NCT 127 and winner BTS. Thanking fans for their support Wonho said they had a great time.

“After the performance we were treated to a delicious meal including yukhoe, my favorite,” said Hyungwon admitting his fondness for the raw beef dish.

The two also assured fans that Kihyun was resting and recovering from his injury. They said they had a brief chat with Kihyun and agreed that he was very much alive and well.

“We are going back to Korea in a few days, after almost two months,” said Wonho, adding that he would have to face a strange emptiness when he returns to his room after a long absence.

“Finally, the moment I have been waiting for has come,” said Jackson.

He asked Jinyoung what he thought about his image. Hearing Jinyoung say “clean and pure,” Jackson added his own description: “boyfriend, hunnam (nice and kind guy), and if compared to fabric, silk.”

“Everyone, from the staff to fans, loves you, but me, only the director likes me. Since I can make scenes work,” said Jackson with a serious face despite Jinyoung’s protest.

Regaining composure, Jinyoung told Jackson that his image as first love would not last long.

“But we are idols. It’s about this certain moment you fall for someone and then you become a fan,” said Jackson elaborating on how Jinyoung captures the hearts of everyone regardless of gender or age.

“After your dance performance, you don’t have to see the rest of our live concert. It’s already over,” insisted Jackson, adding that all people remembered was Jinyoung’s solo dance.
