Leeteuk took the opportunity to thank Heechul for a favor he had done years earlier. As soon as his name was mentioned, Heechul tried to stop Leeteuk from talking, but the band leader went on. He recalled his trainee days, when he had not gone home for six months and his mom called the dormitory. Heechul answered the phone, quickly gauged the situation and covered for his bandmate, said Leeteuk.

Heechul, in turn, thanked Leeteuk and Sindong. On their way home after the band’s recent concert in Saudi Arabia, the bandmates chatted nonstop about their past.

“As you get older, you don’t have as many friends. People who can talk about the old days,” he said.

Leeteuk agreed, saying he’d really had a good time talking to everyone on the last night of the Saudi trip. They talked until 3 or 4 in the morning, Eunhyuk added.

“We may argue or fight with each other but in 10 years, it will be a precious memory,” said Leeteuk.

“Our first visit to Toronto was for a fan meet event and this time, the size is much bigger. The fact that we are having a concert at a huge venue like this is amazing by itself,” said Jinyoung.

“I always feel good here as last time I just completed my military duty,” recalled Bambam, referring to an entertainment program he’d taken part in that shows celebrities at a military boot camp.

Meanwhile, Yugyeom was looking intently at a video of the band’s rehearsals. The concerts had drastically grown in scale and Yugyeom felt quite insecure, he confided. But it has strengthened the bond among the band members, said the performer, expressing gratitude.

Jackson was also appreciative for being a part of the band.

“Whatever you do, there comes a time when you are in a slump. But then I ask myself and realize that I am living the life I want ... I respect and cherish that I can go onstage and perform,” he said.

Seen at the drama set, the singer and actress could not keep her eyes open, having barely slept for a week. As she awaited the shoot, did not even try to suppress a huge yawn.

“This is the last take and it is 1:56 a.m.,” she said, showing the time on a smartphone. She had returned to the set after monitoring the previous episode, which had just aired, and was glad that shooting would be finished before sunrise, she said.

“I haven’t been home in a week and I am afraid I may have forgotten the key combination for the house,” she joked.

The actress didn’t seem ready to let go, however. Ever since she received the final script, whenever she sees another actor she gets a lump in her throat, she confessed.

“I almost cried while shooting outside this morning ... but I would rather not cry. I never cry at my concerts!” said IU. But during the last scene with her co-star Yeo Jingoo, the two were seen shedding tears while saying they weren’t crying.

“We will go onstage (for a music chart program) and head to the airport to fly to LA,” said Lia, telling fans that her sparkly violet-hued costume reminded her of a mermaid.

Yeji was practicing freestyle dance moves for the intro. After the filming, she looked at the clip and wondered to herself why she’d chosen to tuck hair behind her ears even though it was pulled up.

After savoring shaved ice from Weki Meki, the girls gave each other massages.

“I gave leg massages to two and I am being rewarded,” said Yuna, making funny faces as Yeji kneaded her shoulders.

The girls sent fans their love after winning first place on the show, and began preparing for the LA trip.
