EXO, which just came out with the new album “Obsession,” released two contrasting videos of the band performing the title track.

In the X-EXO version, they look totally different in sleek, colorful suits with heavy makeup complemented by piercings and chains across their faces -- expressing the band’s dangerous, darker side.

The storyline involves the EXO members fighting their evil doppelgangers from X-EXO. The two clips are competing against each other for views, and the view count will determine which one gets released first.

GOT7 talks about “Thursday” performance

On the latest episode of GOT7’s “Hotline,” the band members talked about how they had decided to perform “Thursday” from the latest album, “Call My Name.”

The video was shot backstage on the set of MBC’s “Show! Music Core,” where the members had just finished prerecording their performance.

“During the recording, I made some mistake during my moves,” said Yugyeom. “I felt embarrassed because I am the group’s main dancer and also many people came to see us. I think that’s why I laughed.”

Jinyoung shared how they had decided to perform “Thursday” during their promotion.

“When I was listening to ‘Thursday,’ it was so good and I started mapping out the choreography in my head as I was listening to the song. I came up with simple and fun moves to go with the song, (taking) inspiration from Yugyeom’s signature moves and gestures that he uses a lot.”

“The song is bright, and I thought if we put cute movements in, fans would love the song,” he said, adding that it had taken him only a day to come up with the choreography.

Bang Chan shares songs that make him nostalgic

Stray Kids’ Bang Chan took to V Live for his weekly solo segment “Chan’s Room,” where he recommends music and talks with viewers.

He kicked off the broadcast with the first song: “Into the Unknown” from the soundtrack of the latest Disney blockbuster, “Frozen 2.”

“I haven’t watched the movie yet, but this song had a big impact on me the first time I heard it,” he said. “It’s very mysterious and marvelous.”

He continued the broadcast with “Star” by Rothy, followed by “How Can I Love the Heartbreak, You’re the One I Love,” by AKMU.

“This song is just shockingly good,” he said about the AKMU song. “It’s a good song to listen (to at) night. And this is one of the songs that makes me emotional and could make me cry if I wanted to.”

He then thought of a song that came to mind, one he’d listened to a lot back when he was living in Australia.

“This song that I am about to share is one of the songs that, for some reason, whenever I listen to it, makes me very emotional and brings me tears.”

That song was Chris Tomlin’s “Indescribable.”

Bang Chan also streamed Linkin Park’s “New Divide,” saying the song was another one of the songs he had listened to a lot. “He was a legend and will never be forgotten,” the musician said.

To wrap up the broadcast, his last pick was JYP Entertainment head Park Jin-young’s latest single, “Fever.”

He watched the music video and showed his reaction live to the viewers, expressing how he is in love with the song.

“This is why I love our big boss,” he said. “I really like this kind of music. I think Park PD has (an amazing) ability to turn a classic song with a modern vibe. It’s very hot.”
