Jisung and Chenle of NCT Dream livestreamed together and invited fans to share their concerns, while admitting that they tend to talk between themselves rather than actually discussing the stories people send in.

“I hung out with Jaemin and went to an escape room cafe for the first time,” said Jisung, stopping Chenle from saying too much in advance.

“I am easily scared, so I didn’t want to go at first, but I liked it so much!” he said, inviting Chenle to go with him next time. Chenle turned down the offer even before Jisung had finished his sentence, but then said “OK” with a mischievous chuckle.

They then talked about the end of the weekend, saying many viewers were probably unhappy to have to start a new week and get back to work. But because most of them had to, they should enjoy the good parts whenever possible, said Chenle. Jisung agreed, saying the most important thing was making an effort.

The pair went on to mention their own experiences and thoughts before Chenle spotted a question from a viewer asking for advice on how to join their band. “Let us hear you sing first,” said Jisung, leaning in to the screen before smiling.

NCT 127’s Johnny turns 25

Johnny of NCT 127 took to V Live to mark his birthday, thanking everyone for celebrating it with him.

“I went to the gym this morning and glanced at myself in the mirror thinking this is what being 25 years old looks like,” he said with a chuckle.

He assured fans that he’d had some cake and miyeok guk -- seaweed soup, which Koreans usually eat on their birthdays -- “twice, actually.” But when some fans told him they’d been to a cafe to celebrate his birthday, he stopped smiling and lamented that he hadn’t been invited this year -- again.

The birthday boy took off his jacket for a second to show off his shirt, explaining that for some reason he’d wanted to wear pink and purple. He then confided that right after working out, he’d gone to McDonald’s.

“Today being my birthday, my mom sent me some childhood pictures and there was one from a party at McDonald’s and I suddenly had a craving for burgers. So I got myself a Big Mac combo,” said Johnny.

SF9’s Dawon overwhelmed by fans’ compliments

Dawon of SF9 went live on his way home, telling fans he wanted to chat with them even for a short while before the weekend came to an end as he hadn’t had a chance to talk with them as much as he would have liked Friday at a fan meeting.

He apologized for being “slightly puffy” and waved away fans’ compliments on his appearance, saying he was trying to keep the camera far away from his face.

“I didn’t know but I have moles here and here,” said the idol, pointing at the tiny marks under both his eyes. “I realized it only today.” As for the new haircut, he confided with a grin that he’d planned to cut it short but the hair stylist had gotten a little carried away.

Although the band has wrapped up its promotion activities for “Good Guy,” he has been quite busy. The nine-piece act had autograph sessions from Friday to Sunday and is busy preparing for a fan meeting event scheduled for later this month. He had been on the move since early morning and would have to work on something as soon as he got home, he told fans, covering his mouth to yawn.

GFriend greets fans on the way home

The younger half of six-piece girl group GFriend tuned into V Live in the car after a fan autograph session.

The trio tried to cover up the mess in the back of their van by turning out a light. SinB wondered out loud how bad the lighting in the car was and the other two in the back agreed that it was bad. Umji took over the camera from Shinbi when asked, but said she wasn’t sure if it was OK to just show herself. Yuju and SinB wished her good luck before discussing their recent shows.

“We did ‘Labyrinth’ today and ‘Crossroads’ on the day before,” said the youngest member, referring to the lead track and the second track from their new EP, “Labyrinth,” which was released Monday.

SinB said she was very fond of the non-title tracks from the EP and especially the costumes. But she was disheartened when some viewers commented that her costume and Yuju’s were not as pretty as the rest.
