Jeno of NCT Dream went live on his way home for the first time in a long while.

“This must be the first time I am doing this in the car since (I quit) ‘The Show,’” he said, joking that the lack of a “regular job” -- his weekly duties as master of ceremonies for the music chart program -- was the reason.

The idol apologized for not doing the solo segment as often and instead asked fans to tune into Huya TV later, when he plays online games with his bandmates.

“I don’t play games these days, though,” he said, before telling viewers that he was headed home and would pick up a burger at Shake Shack on the way. While waiting for the staffer to get the food, Jeno battled with the blinding sunlight while catching up on news about his NCT bandmates through fans.

Having told fans in advance that he couldn’t stay online for very long, he promised before closing that he would send a message through Bubble, a platform that allows stars to communicate with all their subscribers at once.

Tomorrow X Together’s Soobin talks food

Soobin of TXT took to V Live on his own, chatting with fans over dinner.

“I had this craving for entrails but when I was about to order, I changed my mind and chose tripe instead,” he said, happily opening the food containers except for a side dish of pickles. The difference between the two? Tripe is more expensive and an expensive dish usually tastes better, he said, chuckling.

The performer confided that he was starving and invited fans to ask him questions as he helped himself.

“Anything but the hat,” he added with a sheepish smile. “You know why I am wearing it.”

For lunch, he’d had a rice burger, which reminded him of his school days.

“There was a rice burger franchise next to my school and I frequented that place with a friend,” Soobin told viewers. Some fans said they were in high school and asked for his advice on school life, but he cautiously said he might not be the best person to ask as he hadn’t finished the full three years.

iKON checks in before midnight

Bobby and Kim Jinhwan of iKON surprised fans by going live close to midnight.

“It is quite out of the blue, but the idea just hit us,” said Kim.

The two spotted something in front of them and Bobby suggested one of them wear it throughout the segment. Kim hesitated for a second before the two began a round of rock, paper, scissors and Bobby put on a pair of swim goggles. “I am thinking of starting swimming,” explained Kim, complimenting his bandmate: “You look OK. You look better than usual, actually.”

They had a photo shoot, but couldn’t give out any details. When fans commented that Kim seemed to have lost weight, the musician acknowledged that he had been on a diet, eating only one meal a day, to prepare for the band’s upcoming activities. Bobby, however, insisted that Kim had gained weight. Bobby has to slide over Kim as part of their new performance, he said, and it was leading to injuries.

“Hey! Only I can pull off that move,” protested Kim as the pair broke into smiles.

IZ*ONE gets ready to bloom again

The girl group hailed its comeback with a makings-of video from a trailer shooting.

“I have finished filming my solo part and I’m in the elevator on my way to the waiting room. You must be curious to see who’s there, right?” said Kwon Eunbi, bringing the camera with her. She sat down next to Honda Hitomi, who had her hair dyed light pink and wore it in braids. Kwon told her bandmate it suited her, making her look like a peach.

Pink was also the color of the dresses worn by Lee Chaeyeon and Kim Minju on the other side. With her hair and makeup done all pretty, Lee volunteered to do a little dance befitting the billowing outfit, but when Kim stepped back to give her some space, Lee showed off some fierce moves, sending Kim away.

Awaiting her turn, Kim Minju tried to demonstrate a short group dance but murmured that nobody else seemed to be willing to practice. Joining her, Kim Chaewon said to the camera, “Don’t misunderstand.”
