Haechan of NCT 127 took to V Live before going to bed in his hotel room in Houston.

“We finished our performance at Rodeo Houston and came back to the hotel,” he said, adding that he wanted to talk to his fans since it had been a while.

Although the band’s show was not the main event at the Houston Livestock Show, one of the world’s largest in the industry, so many fans were present that the band got energy from them, said the musician.

“I actually am still getting used to the time difference, but I shouldn’t,” he said, wondering if it was the first time he’d been on V Live since coming out with “Kick It.”

It had been quite some time since NCT 127 released a new album and everyone put in a lot of effort. And he is very grateful to see that many of the fans like the title track, said Haechan.

“The most exciting part of returning with new songs is to present them in front of you in person,” he said, sympathizing with fans who regret the missed opportunity.

SF9’s Jaeyoon whips up some pancakes

“Today I am going to make some pancakes,” said Jaeyoon of SF9 before showing off the new lighting that would help the viewers see him better.

“I thought what can I do, at least on my own?” he said, admitting that it wasn’t easy for the band to stay close to its fans during the COVID-19 outbreak.

He first went through each utensil and ingredient, and said he had been making pancakes since he was young. Putting on a pink apron to keep his white shirt clean, the idol began beating the eggs in the bowl.

“I’m going to use the whole pack,” he said, pouring in the pancake mix. “I will make as many as possible until I get tired.”

“Cooking something lifts up my spirits,” said Jaeyoon, carefully mixing the dough.

Jeongmin gives fans taste of upcoming single

Jeongmin, the vocalist from now-disbanded Boyfriend, sat down with Kpop Herald reporters and discussed his solo career.

He was happy, excited and nervous at the same time about taking to V Live for the first time in about a year, admitted the singer.

After the six-piece idol boy band disbanded last year, eight years after its debut, Jeongmin launched his own label and firmly established his footing as a singer-songwriter, explained Kpop Herald reporter Hong Dam-young.

“I have been preparing for an album and a concert,” said Jeongmin. He also has been communicating with fans, often in English, via live chats on social media, he added.

He is set to release a new single, he said, although he couldn’t disclose the exact date or the title of the song yet. When Kpop Herald reporter Yim Hyun-su gently nudged him to drop some hints, Jeongmin instead offered to sing part of the song for the first time in public.

Kim Yohan checks in on fans via V Live

Kim Yohan took his fans by surprise with an impromptu V Live segment.

“I have missed you too and wanted to catch up with you,” he said, telling fans that he had an appointment in the morning.

Although he’d had a bite of a sandwich he was still hungry and would have to eat some more later, said the former X1 member. He acknowledged that he might look slimmer as he had been watching his diet.

“And been taking the probiotics and krill oil capsules my mom has told me to take,” said Kim.

As for his upcoming appearance in a starring role on a television drama, he told viewers that the shooting had not started yet.

“I am practicing, reading the scripts, preparing a lot,” said the singer-turned-actor, admitting that acting wasn’t easy.

He also indulged fans’ request and sketched a rabbit, an animal his fans often compare him to, holding a carrot.
