The bandmates of BTS went on a scavenger hunt at the Hyundai Motor Studio in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, in the 110th episode of “Run BTS!”

As a warmup, the septet took a series of quizzes to get hints about the mission. Jin demonstrated his sense of humor, just about acing the nonsense quiz, while RM showed off his logical thinking.

Next, the band members had to keep a sheet of tissue paper in the air for a whole minute. Suga went first, followed by Jimin, Jin and RM. Everyone failed miserably.

“Can you believe that I’m the only one (who made it) over seven seconds?” asked Suga.

Jungkook was not sure of himself but pushed the tally up by almost 16 seconds, and RM muttered something that was hard to understand.

They practiced “telepathy,” guessing which animals their bandmates had drawn without looking. But the highlight of the warmup was when Jin lay down and stood up using only his legs.

BTS's Japanese album another record-setter: Kpop Herald

Kpop Herald reporters Hong Dam-young and Kwon Yae-rim looked inside BTS’ fourth Japanese studio album, “Map of The Soul 7: The Journey.”

In addition to the band’s previous hits rerecorded in Japanese, the album features exclusive titles including “Stay Gold.” The same songs sung in Japanese deliver a different feeling, noted Kwon.

The latest album debuted at No. 1 on the albums chart and sold about 500,000 copies within 24 hours. The seven-piece act also topped Oricon’s album sales chart in the first half of this year, becoming the first international artists to achieve that feat since Michael Jackson in 1984, explained Hong.

The reporters also took a peek at BTS’ interview and photo spread in Vogue Japan’s August issue. There was a makings-of video from the photo shoot, and Hong said it was actually Vogue Korea that had photographed the artists’ black and white shoes.

Twice checks in on fans before concert

The bandmates of Twice said hello to fans in between practice sessions, making the most of what little time they had.

“We’ve been practicing,” said Nayeon, settling down onto a sofa with her bandmates. “We have our dinner at 6 and wanted to drop by for a brief chat with you.”

Sana was reading through the live chat room when she realized that she’d revealed her new hair color -- something she’d wanted to save as a surprise for the band’s upcoming online concert. As she yelped in dismay, Tzuyu, who had also just dyed her hair, tried to disguise her disappointment.

“This is the lightest color you have tried since our debut, right?” Jihyo asked Tzuyu as Nayeon stroked Tzuyu’s long, light brown mane.

“We are practicing literally every day,” Nayeon told viewers. Jihyo checked the time and said they didn’t have much time left.

“Our dinner break is one hour, so it’s almost time,” Nayeon explained, adding that she felt as if she’d gone back to her days as a trainee.

The bandmates of Monsta X took to V Live to show off their new line of bear-themed merchandise, launched in collaboration with game maker NCSoft.

First they talked about their entertainment program on YouTube, starting with the suits they wore for the last episode.

“I had a lot of fun shooting it,” said Hyungwon. Minhyuk was happy that they could bring different generations of fans together with a look back at the past.

IM said he liked the part where Hyungwon slapped Kihyun, who said it was an accident.

“I was really surprised,” he went on. “It was drizzling, and Hyungwon really got into the character.”

“Many of you must have taken the hints, and the (soundtrack for the YouTube content) will come out tomorrow,” Kihyun said. It will be about friendship, Jooheon added.
