Sunwoo of The Boyz went live after appearing on a television music show followed by an autograph session.

He liked the look of the day -- a white shirt and a black tie -- even though it was not a completely new look, he said. He also wanted to talk to his fans since they might not have a chance during the upcoming Chuseok holidays, often called the Korean Thanksgiving.

“We will upload pictures for sure, but ... how should I say it ... (I’m doing this) so that it will let you hang in there,” he said with a chuckle.

As for his neck injury, he assured fans that he was getting better with therapy. He turned his head left and right to show his progress.

It was still early to dance, he said, and it was a shame that he couldn’t join the performance, but “as I’ve told you I’m quick on recovery and will soon be rocking it. That is the day I’m focusing on,” said the performer.

IZ*ONE's Eunbi full of emotions on birthday

Eunbi of IZ*ONE reached out to fans to thank them for celebrating her birthday with her.

“I don’t know why, but I’m feeling quite emotional this year,” she said. Her bandmates had marked the occasion with an event before she started the livestream and she’d cried although she hadn’t meant to.

“I walked in and there was a cake in the middle of the room with all the lights off. There was no one and the song ‘Happy Birthday’ started playing. I suddenly was sad and tears came down,” said the idol. She’d found the members later and was so thankful.

The birthday girl also was full of gratitude toward her fans, who’d organized countless events to commemorate the day -- from billboard ads and cafes to an exhibition.

“I really appreciate the beautiful thoughts of each and every one of you. Going through such great lengths for me,” she said.

Ateez's rappers talk music

Sunghwa, San and Mingi, the rappers of the boy band Ateez, boasted their best raps.

Mingi softly said he was proud of all the title tracks but picked “Treasure” as the most memorable. He talked about his ambitions, to sweep the mass media, in the song and they really were on the way now in their second year, he said with a sheepish grin.

San asked Mingi if there were any lyrics or punch lines he felt had not come true in full, and Mingi said he preferred to leave that up to the audience.

“I believe there is a difference how it is received and how I felt at the time ... so I try not to share my interpretation,” said Mingi.

Meanwhile, Sunghwa was surprised to see how much fans loved one part from “Promise,” from their second EP.

“I was in a rush to practice than to think how I could put a meaning into it,” he recalled as they hadn’t had enough time and sometimes had to record on the spot right after listening to the guide.

Stray Kids unveils "Any" video

Stray Kids uploaded the full video of “Any,” one of the new songs from “In Life.”

The camera follows a deck of cards, with lightning bolts on the back, strewn on a table. The eight band members find a box in the trunk of a car and when they open it, there’s a flash of light and mysterious smoke engulfs them. This seems to give them power. It transforms a plain old key into a key for a badass car that they drive away.

The boy band put a total of eight tracks from the album -- a repackaging of its first full-length album -- on Billboard’s 25-rung list of World Digital Song Sales, including title track “Back Door” at No. 2. “Any” ranks at No. 13. The album sold over 233,000 copies, setting another record. The band will also release its first EP in Japan on Nov. 4.
