Jisung and Chenle of NCT Dream went live with WayV’s Hendery. Chenle teased the other two, saying they were awkward with each other and should be the next pair to be featured on NCT’s reality show.

Hendery mentioned how tall Jisung had grown since they first met. Jisung reached Hendery’s chin in 2015 but now is much taller, he said.

“We heard that Chenle was a great vocalist so whenever we came across him, we’d ask him to sing a song,” Hendery went on. “And he would always say yes in that childlike voice and start.”

Jisung was curious to know what his first impression was and Hendery told him, with a chuckle, that his skipping down the stairs into the practice room was really cute. Jisung, in turn, admitted that he was struck by Hendery’s strong facial features and was jealous.

Enhyphen gets to know each other better

The four oldest members of Enhypen -- Heeseung, Jay, Jake and Sunghoon -- were tested on how much they knew about each other.

In the quiz, they were asked about the profiles they’d written in the previous V Live episode. Heeseung was ecstatic when he got a question right, and Sunghoon said it was probably Heeseung who’d written it. (What did the bandmates say Sunghoon liked when he actually did not? Ramen.)

Jay was sure he would at least get one question right on a quiz about about Heeseung, saying, “I’ve known him the longest!” Then he pumped his arm in the air when he managed to guess Heeseung’s motto: “Do your best while going with the flow.”

Another question was about Heeseung’s hopes for the year. Everyone held his breath when Jay guessed three on the list: to write a song on his own, to have an autograph session and to have a concert. Sunghoon got the last one right: to cover a song.

IZ*ONE's Nako, Yuri enjoy late-night talks

Yabuki Nako of IZ*ONE was joined by her bandmates in a chat after midnight.

Honda Hitomi came out to say thank you to fans for celebrating her birthday the previous day. Then she left, leaving Yabuki to continue her solo livestream.

Yabuki then asked if the viewers had seen the “Beware” video that had just come out, noting that it was the third-fastest-rising video on the Japanese charts. She played it on her phone, singing and dancing along with it.

“I really like it,” she said afterward, giving the thumbs-up sign.

Cho Yuri then appeared in her pajamas. It was her first time on V Live after getting a haircut, and she said she wanted to explain why she’d gotten a bob.

“I’d had a hair extension for about six months and it was taking a toll on my scalp,” she went on. “It was not intentional but was just in time for the concert.” She once said she’d never get a bob, she admitted, adding that she planned to grow it out again.

Blackpink floats sampler for new album

Blackpink uploaded a sampler clip that gave fans a taste of each of the eight tracks from its first full-length album.

In about two minutes, parts of songs from prereleases “How You Like That” and “Ice Cream” to title track “Lovesick Girls” played in the background with still photographs of each member of the quartet.

The band sold 590,000 copies of “The Album” on the first day, setting a record for a K-pop girl group. The album landed in first place on the iTunes album charts in 57 countries upon its release, and half of the tracks made the top 10 on Spotify’s global top songs chart.

Hailed as one of the most anticipated releases of 2020, the album topped 1 million preorders and Forbes forecast that it would enter the Billboard 200 at No. 2.

Netflix original documentary “Blackpink: Light Up the Sky” will premiere Oct. 14.
